Know when your players sit down.

Add the players you want to play to a watchlist. When one sits down at a GGPoker and CoinPoker cash table, you get a Telegram alert with the stakes, the table and every stack. No more refreshing the lobby.

The problem

The whale sits down. You’re at the gym.

Online, a big share of your win rate comes from a handful of soft games — the tables with a whale or two on them. Against regs you grind out a thin edge. Against a whale, your edge is huge. But whales play when they feel like it, and nobody can watch the lobby all day — not even from their phone.

Where you are when it happens

  • At the gym Between sets, not between tables.
  • In bed Lights off, lobby closed.
  • On the road Eyes on the road, not the lobby.
  • Out to dinner The game won’t wait for dessert.

Every whale you don’t hear about is EV you never get back.

Manually refreshing

  • The whale sits down while you’re away from the screen
  • Regs who were watching the lobby take the seats around him
  • You check later, and he’s gone
  • You’re back to grinding thin edges against regs

With

  • Your phone buzzes as soon as he’s spotted at a table
  • You see the site, stakes, table and every stack at a glance
  • You decide on the spot whether the game is worth opening
  • Not sure he’s still on? Ask /where

It’s not just a message that someone’s playing. It’s being the first to know where the good game is.

The cost of missing it

How it works

Three steps. All of them in Telegram.

  1. Request access

Open @LobbyAlertBot and tap Start. The bot is private, so your request goes to the owner and the bot messages you as soon as it’s approved. An invite link lets you straight in.

This bot is private, so your request has been sent to the owner. Account status: pending approval
    Received at 21:12
  2. Add players

Send /add and a screen name. Put gg or cp in front to watch one site only, and add a #note to remember why.

    /add gg SunnyDeuces

Watching SunnyDeuces in GGPoker. Not seated in the latest scans - you will get an alert when they sit down.
    Received at 21:14
  3. Get the alert

When a watched player sits down, the bot sends the site, game, stakes and table on one line — then everyone at the table and their stacks.

    🔔 SunnyDeuces → GG PLO5 $10/$20 T7 ($3,120)

Runs on our machines, not yours.

There’s nothing to install and nothing on your computer for a poker client to detect. Alerts arrive in Telegram, and PokerLobbyAlert never asks for your poker login.

  1. Built for the lock screen

Player, site, game, stakes, table and their stack fit on the first line — the part your phone shows in the notification. Your note rides along in italics.

  2. The whole table, biggest stack first

Seats filled, then every player and stack. The player you watch is in bold, so you can judge the table before you open it.

  3. Time-stamped

Date, time and time zone on every alert, so there’s no guessing when it happened.

  1. One message, not a flood

When a player is on several tables, you get one summary of all of them instead of an alert per table.

  2. New tables are marked

Tables they’ve just joined are flagged new, next to the ones you already knew about.

  3. Tap through to any table

Each button opens that table’s player list and stacks. And if someone stands up and sits back down, that table stays quiet for 30 minutes.

  • Every site, or just one

/add watches a player everywhere. Put gg or cp first to limit it.

  • Notes on every player

Anything after # shows up in the alert — “loose, rebuys”, “deep”, or “avoid”.

  • Already seated? You’ll know

Add a player who’s already playing and the bot tells you where they’re seated right now.

  • /where for anyone

Look up any screen name on demand, not just the players on your list.

  • The whole table in every alert

Seats filled and every player’s stack, biggest first.

  • One summary for multi‑tablers

Several tables, one message, with a button for each table.

  • No repeat pings

One alert per player per table every 30 minutes, even if they stand up and sit back down.

  • Forgiving name matching

Capitals, spaces and punctuation are ignored; lookalikes such as l/I/1 and O/0 still match.

  • Private by design

Access by approval or invite only. Other members never see your list.

  • Nothing on your computer

It runs on our machines, so there’s no software on your PC for a poker client to detect — and no poker-site login.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Every answer here describes how the bot works today.

Which poker sites and stakes are covered?

GGPoker: No-Limit Hold'em, PLO, PLO5 and PLO6 on 6-max tables at $5/$10 and $10/$20. CoinPoker: No-Limit Hold'em, PLO, PLO5 and PLO6 at $5/$10 and up. Other sites, lower stakes and tournaments aren’t covered, so players there won’t trigger an alert. PokerKing is coming soon, with more sites to follow.

What’s in an alert?

The first line has the player, site, game, stakes, table and their stack, plus your note — it’s the part your lock screen shows. Under it: how many seats are filled and every player at the table with their stack, biggest first. Each alert ends with the date, time and time zone.

Do I need to install anything or connect my poker account?

No. PokerLobbyAlert runs on its own machines, so nothing is installed on your computer. All you need is Telegram on your phone or desktop, and you never share a poker-site login.

Can a poker site see that I use PokerLobbyAlert?

Not from your computer. Nothing is installed there and the bot never touches your poker account, so a poker client has nothing on your machine to detect. To keep it that way, we suggest not using Telegram’s desktop notifications on the computer you play on — get your alerts on your phone instead. Each site has its own rules about third-party tools, so check the terms of the sites you play on.

What if I don’t know the exact spelling of a screen name?

Type it as you know it. Matching ignores capitals, spaces and punctuation, and treats lookalike characters — l, I and 1, or O and 0 — as the same. Names shorter than four characters have to match exactly.

How many players can I watch?

Up to 20. /list shows them all, and /remove takes one off with a tap.

Will I get spammed when a player sits in and out?

No. The same player at the same table triggers at most one alert every 30 minutes. When a player is on several tables, the alert becomes one summary of all of them, with a button for each table.

Does it tell me when a player leaves?

No — alerts are for sit-downs. To check whether someone is still playing, send /where NAME.

Can other members see who I’m watching?

No. Your list is only ever shown to you, and the bot only works in private chats.

How do I get access?

Open @LobbyAlertBot in Telegram and tap Start. The bot is private, so your request goes to the owner and the bot messages you once it’s approved. An invite link lets you in straight away. If a request is declined, you can ask again after 24 hours.

How much does it cost?

Plans are priced by the highest stake you play, and each one includes every stake below it on every site we watch. Prices are being finalised.
