This policy covers PokerLobbyAlert: the Telegram bot @LobbyAlertBot and this website. It lists what is stored, why, who can see it and how long it is kept. “We” and “us” mean the people who run PokerLobbyAlert.

What the bot stores about you

  • Your Telegram identity, as Telegram shares it with bots: your chat ID, your first and last name, and your @username if you have one.
  • Your access record: when you joined and how (invite link or approval). If you request access, when you asked; if a request is declined, when it was declined, so that asking again within 24 hours doesn’t send us another request.
  • Your watchlist: the screen names you add, the site you limit each one to, and your notes.
  • Your messages to the bot: commands are processed to answer you, and the bot’s log keeps your chat ID with the first 60 characters of each message.

What it doesn’t ask for

The bot never asks for your poker-site login, and nothing runs on your device apart from Telegram itself.

Poker table data

To send alerts and answer /where, the service records what is shown at monitored cash tables: screen names, the site, game, stakes and table, stack sizes, and when players sit down and leave. This covers every seated player at those tables, not only players on watchlists.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts, and it has no forms. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. Links to the bot open Telegram, where Telegram’s own privacy policy applies.

How it’s used

Only to run PokerLobbyAlert: sending alerts, answering commands, managing access and fixing problems. Your data isn’t sold and isn’t used for advertising.

Who can see it

Your watchlist is shown only to you; other members can’t see it. We have access to the records above in order to run the service and manage access. Messages travel through Telegram, and Telegram’s own privacy policy covers Telegram.

How long it’s kept

  • Your account record and watchlist: while you have access. They are deleted when your access ends.
  • An access request: until it is approved or declined. The date of a decline is kept.
  • The bot’s log and poker table data: kept separately from your account, for running and fixing the service, with no fixed deletion date.

Removing your data

  • /remove takes a player off your watchlist straight away.
  • When your access is removed, your account record and watchlist are deleted with it.

Age

PokerLobbyAlert is for adults. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

This page is updated when the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
